Three Shows on Tour this Autumn - Celebrating 10 Years on the Road!
This autumn, Adverse Camber marks 10 years on the road! What better way to celebrate than by touring 3 different productions over 3 months, with 19 performances crossing the length and breadth of the country. Starting with a performance of The Kingdom of the Heart at Wirksworth Festival, near our base in Derbyshire on Tue 20 September, we move swiftly onto 11 dates for The Shahnameh: the Epic Book of Kings from 29 September to 12 November, from the tip of Cornwall to Liverpool and Yorkshire in the North and in October, we’re thrilled to present the second UK tour of our UK/Finland co-commission Fire in the North Sky: Epic Tales from Finland for 7 dates from 6 - 15 October. This is the busiest we've ever been, so make sure you catch us on tour this autumn! Each production is, of course, unique, crafted by artists drawing on decades of work with the material of the stories, music and cultures of each piece. Thanks to all the partners and team members whose work has supported their creation and now their touring! We’re especially delighted to present work in so many different locations and contexts, from small scale, intimate arts festivals or village halls to larger scale literature festivals and theatre spaces such as Cambridge Junction and mac birmingham – creating an intimate experience at a range of scales. Take a look at all the tour dates here. You'll see that not all dates are on sale yet, but make sure you get them in your diary now. As always, we are energised by meeting audiences in person so we hope you’ll be able to join us at one of our dates this Autumn! Please come and say hello and let us know what you think!
